Ring Ceremonies
Virginia Athletics and the Virginia Athletics Foundation (VAF) hold a memorable celebration featuring a ring ceremony for all teams winning a National Championship.
Postseason Events
Access to postseason events such as bowl games and ACC and NCAA postseason tournaments is offered to VAF donors whenever possible. Information about postseason tickets, travel packages, and special events is communicated by email through the Virginia Athletics Foundation and the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office prior to events where donor benefits apply.
Step Up to the Plate
VAF members and fans of Virginia Baseball are invited each year to an annual fundraiser for Virginia Baseball. The special evening includes a guest speaker, live and silent auctions, dinner, and an autograph session with the team. Special team awards are announced during the evening.
Golf Tournaments
The Tee It Up and The Foundry golf tournaments are annual fundraising events for the men’s and women’s golf teams. Guests are invited to play a round of golf with members of the teams. A luncheon and noteworthy golf awards are part of each tournament day. Golf tournaments are oftentimes held in conjunction with Reading Days for the golf student-athletes or other events, e.g. All-Sports Reunion, planned away game football weekends, etc.
The VAF staff assists each team with events important to their programs. These may include fundraisers, golf tournaments, reunions, kickoff events, on-field recognitions, celebratory events, away and home game tailgates, or special gatherings.
