2023 VAF YEAR-END GIVING INFORMATION

To qualify for a 2023 VAF tax receipt, please refer to the Year-End Giving guidelines below.

Checks must be postmarked in 2023. VAF mailing address is as follows:

Online Credit Card Payments:
Online payments must be made by 11:59pm on Sunday, December 31, 2023 here

Credit Card Payments by Phone:
Credit Card payments made by phone must be received by 11:59pm on Sunday, December 31, 2023 (see above office schedule)

Credit Card Payments by Mail:
If you are paying by credit card through the mail, please plan ahead as VAF office must receive the mail by Friday, December 29, 2023 in order to be processed in 2023.

ACH or Wire Transfers:
ACH or Wire Transfers must be received into the VAF bank account by 4:00pm on Friday, December 29, 2023. VERY IMPORTANT: Please contact the VAF at 434.982.5555 or vafweb@virginia.edu to provide donor name/account number and gift designation so we can accurately credit your account.

Gifts of Stock:
Stock gifts must be made early enough that the stock is received into VAF’s brokerage account by 5:00pm on Sunday, December 31, 2023. Stock transactions typically take several days to transfer between brokerage firms. VERY IMPORTANT: Please contact the VAF at 434.982.5555 or vafweb@virginia.edu to provide donor name/account number and gift designation so we can accurately credit your account. The following is information your brokerage firm will need to transfer the stock from your account to the VAF account.
