Brandon McCladdieAssistant Director
Brandon joined the VAF staff in July of 2015. As a member of the development team, he assists with fundraising efforts for the Annual Fund, working primarily with donors in the state of Virginia. He is the VAF liaison for the women’s basketball program.

Brandon is a native of Augusta, GA. He graduated from The Citadel where he earned a BS in Sport Management and a Master of Business Administration. As an undergraduate, he was a four-year starter and two-time captain for the Bulldogs football team. Brandon was chosen to the FCS ADA Academic All-Star team and was twice named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team and the All-Southern Conference team.

Brandon served as a graduate assistant in marketing at The Citadel where he helped boost attendance, increase exposure and enhance the game day fan experience for the Bulldogs. He also interned for the Bulldogs development department. Prior to joining the VAF staff, Brandon interned for NACDA, working with NAADD, MOAA, NAATSO, FCS ADA, Under Armour Athletic Director of the Year and the McLendon Foundation.
